The Model 5900 allows condensate water to collect <\/span><span class=\"adverb\"><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-6-0\">normally<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-7-0\"> in a standard drum drip. <\/span><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-8-0\">Pressurized flow from a failed drum drip <\/span><\/span><span class=\"adverb\"><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-9-0\">automatically<\/span><\/span><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-10-0\"> trips the auxiliary drain flood eliminator to cut off that flow<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-11-0\">. This eliminates the flooding and damage that would result from the system\u2019s failure. <\/span><span class=\"veryhardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-12-0\">The Flood Eliminator can be pre-assembled to AGF\u2019s <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/agfmfg.com\/collectandrain\/\"><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-13-0\">COLLECT<span class=\"text-small-caps\">an<\/span>DRAIN<\/span><\/a><span class=\"veryhardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-14-0\"> auxiliary drains or retrofitted to existing auxiliary drains<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"dvh42-15-0\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-0-0\">The patent-pending Model 5900 <\/span><\/span><span class=\"passivevoice\"><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-1-0\">is designed<\/span><\/span><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-2-0\"> for installation above the top valve of a typical auxiliary drain assembly<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-3-0\">. A 3.5\u201d brass body with a 1\u201d female NPT inlet and a 1\u201d male NPT outlet houses the mechanism. If the drain below a Flood Eliminator fails, the dry valve will open. This results in pressurized water entering the system flowing towards the break. <\/span><span class=\"veryhardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-4-0\">When this high-velocity pressurized flow reaches the <\/span><\/span><span class=\"adverb\"><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-5-0\">specially<\/span><\/span><span class=\"veryhardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-6-0\"> engineered internal mechanism of the Flood Eliminator, it will shut down the flow and stop the flooding<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"1d6lk-7-0\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The auxiliary drain Flood Eliminator does not require power and will automatically reset when the system is reset. It is compatible with dry and pre-action systems using standard compressed air or nitrogen.
