A Smart Monitoring Solution for Auxiliary Drains<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Malvern, PA \u2013 November 6, 2025 \u2013 AGF Manufacturing, the industry leader in fire sprinkler system accessories, announces the launch of AGFConnect<\/em>, a new remote monitoring solution designed to make auxiliary drain maintenance easier, smarter, and more reliable.\"\"<\/p>\n

AGFConnect<\/em> combines a wireless sensor with indoor and outdoor gateway options to deliver real-time monitoring of auxiliary drains on dry and pre-action fire sprinkler systems. The system alerts contractors and facility managers when drains require attention, helping to prevent costly freeze damage, reduce unnecessary site visits, and minimize the risk of accidental system trips.<\/p>\n

Unlike other remote monitoring systems, AGFConnect<\/em> operates independently. There\u2019s no need to connect to the fire alarm panel or building management system. The wireless gateway communicates directly with the AGF Connect cloud platform, where users can view system status, receive notifications, and track history from any device via an app or web-based dashboard.<\/p>\n

\"\"For contractors, AGFConnect<\/em> enables proactive service by allowing remote visibility of client drains and timely maintenance scheduling. AGF Connect gives facility managers peace of mind by alerting them the moment an auxiliary drain needs service, reducing maintenance time and preventing costly water and ice damage.<\/p>\n

The AGFConnect<\/em> Indoor Gateway is ideal for conditioned spaces and mechanical rooms and communicates with an Ethernet connection. The Outdoor Gateway offers rugged performance for environments exposed to weather and uses cellular connectivity for reliable data transmission. Both models feature a backup battery to maintain communication during power outages and operate on a standard 120-volt plug.<\/p>\n
