AGF is pleased to introduce a better pressure relief valve, specifically designed for the fire sprinkler industry. The new design features an isolation lock so the pressure relief valve can be installed and locked close for hydrostatic testing. No longer will a system have to be drained to install the pressure relief valve, saving valuable time during installation. The 7000L features a 1/2" MIPT inlet and FIPT outlet and the 7200L has a 3/4" inlet and outlet. Both models are UL Listed and FM Approved and available in 175, 225, and 300 PSI.
AGF's pressure relief valves are UL Listed and FM Approved.
3.2.6 - The set pressure of the trim relief valves shall be 175 to 185 psi (1205 to 1275 kPa) for 175 psi (1205 kPa) rated valves, 250 to 260 psi (1725 to 1790 kPa) for 250 psi (1725 kPa) rated valves, and 300 to 310 psi (2070 to 2135 kPa) for 300 (2070 kPa) rated valves. The set pressure of the trim relief valves shall be set by the manufacturer and marked on the nameplate; no field adjustment to the set pressure is permitted. Other ranges will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
3.2.7 - A manual external handle may be provided by the manufacturer as an option for exercising the valve. By cycling this handle, the valve plug may be exercised while under pressure, to flush debris or other foreign matter off the seat. This optional external handle will have no effect on the set pressure of the valve.
